07.09.2011. Tomi Luoma to replace Kride for upcoming gigs
Hey all!
Due to rough work travels and schedule, Kristian is unable to play the already confirmed shows with us. He has requested some time-off from Norther, so for the time being we have recruited Tomi Luoma (Kill The Romance, Tuoni) on guitar for our kick ass live shows!

14.07.2011. Balbex launches Heikki Saari signature model
Balbex has released a Heikki Saari signature drumstick model. Heikki comments:
"After playing years with Balbex and trying out almost every Balbex model from Jazz to Classic through Rock, i always kept going back to Hickory and Germany 5A.. The conclusion was obvious, this stick just is perfect the way it is. I wouldn´t change anything."
Specs:
Material: Premium Hickory
Thickness: 14,4mm or 9/16 inches
Length: 407mm or 16 1/32 inches
This G5A stick is 0,4mm thicker than the "regular" 5A, with triangle tip. This adds instantly a bit heavier feel. Optimal for metal and rock -performers.

09.05.2011. Two shows cancelled, Live Nation to book Norther shows
Hello everyone,
Unfortunately Norther has to inform, that we are forced to cancel the following two shows:
04.05.2011 BE Bomal Sur Ourthe, Durbuy Rock Festival 2011
11.08.2011 CZ Jaromer, Brutal Assault Festival 2011
The reason for these cancellations were not because of the band, nor the festival organizers.
