alright,
since it's been a hell of a long time since our last blog post, i just decided to write something..
so, it's saturday evening, well deserved weekend evening at home. the time is 23:24 right now it seems and today we had my daughters birthday party for our relatives, she turned two 30th of september.
so for all this accomplishment i decided to have a couple of beers and a few whisky glasses, whee! don't worry, it's ok since i know i have to stay sharp even though she's sleeping..
so.. nothing special hasn't happened concerning Norther.. we've started the works for the next album, which means some demo-status songs are already been made, but nothing is really completed. we've looking forward to enter studio at some point, as we are ready. aaaand this time we'll sure try NOT to enter the studio before EVERYTHING is done. usually people complete and practice the songs BEFORE entering the studio..
so.. winter is coming and i freakin' hate it.. i don't like winter, i like when it's warm and sun is shining.. in Finland the winter is pretty cold and REALLY dark, so that does not meet my standards as a good weather.
lately i've been working like hell, so haven't had too much time for practicing.. today my father fetched his roland electronic drumkit from our home, which means that the long time of loaning his kit for my use only is over.. this practically means that i have to get my ass to our rehearsal lair to really practice in the future, as i don't have an electric drumkit at home.. crap, but i'll manage!
i also had a couple of special gig offers from different bands during the last 1½ months but unfortunately had no possibility to take the offers.. i'd be glad to perform with many different kind of bands to develop myself but unfortunately practically it wasn't possible this time.
So, it seems Norther is going to pull off a little brake and concetrating on the next album material in near future, so be sure to check out ous Russian etc shows!!
meanwhile i'll be pulling a couple of gigs with Tuoni during that time. That'll be a lot fun!
cheers people! |

Hopefully you're not drinking that "Grant's" whisky that Anssi had. Glenfiddich age 18 for the win! |

Very nice, very nice
To go off-topic a little:
Apparently there is a local distillery where I live, you think I'd have noticed it living there for like 18 years before I moved? Anyway! I got a hold of some recently and it is one of the nicest whisky's I've tasted. If you see a bottle, give it a try. It's called Glanburgie (age 12+ of course). |
