Saw Cannibal Corpse again last night. There live show is awesome. There was this one guy in the crowd taunting the band the whole set, and he was probably drunk/half joking but George took many opportunities to make fun of the guy. George was like "Dude, I could kill you. All I would have to do is pull my hair back and split you in half with my neck." Also, I just moved so the southeastern most corner of Georgia, so I got to see Cannibal Corpse in Florida, which was sweet. And wearing jeans and a metal t-shirt in 90 degree F summer weather while in a room packed with other sweaty metalheads is brutal. Maybe why so many death metal bands come from Florida... |

| was at Tuska, was nice, weather was good, some good bands (Barren Earth, Insomnium, Bloodbath, Swallow The Sun, Turmion Kätilöt, Hypocrisy), some boring ones (Megadeth (call me crazy, I was bored), Kamelot, Nevermore, pretty much most of the big names except for W.A.S.P. were boring). Devin Townsend was hilarious "Call me a nerd but I like cats." |

@Enkeli
Why you missing those festivals? I mean it's all so much easier when you're already in the country, I mean last year alone I saw three Finish fests (Sauna Open Air and then Rockperry and Ankkarock coz I was doing a Finnish course in Vaasa and had to fly back from Helsinki anyway). |

because of my work. during sauna i was at home in holland for a family emergency. i have to work very long days, don't get off in the weekend but during the week, don't get enough paid and sometimes i don't even get the two days off in a week... i know, rediculous, but in 10 days (after i've been on tammerfest) i will go home |

| haha, it is practically impossible to just run into someone in Wacken. But we could set up a meeting, since I'm so far going alone (I'll meet people in Wacken but I'm going there alone and might have to camp alone). |

It is so possible... I ran twice into a guy at WOA 2008 whom I met at BYH 2008: Once while having some food and then he stood next to me while Iron Maiden were performing |

| Ok, I actually ran into someone in 2006 but it surely doesn't work if you're kinda anticipating seeing someone. |

I totally agree with this!
At '07 it took me forever to find my friend who I'd actually planned on meeting up with, yet I somehow managed to run into someone I who was specifically trying to avoid four times. -__- |

So true. I met a friend's friend last year and explained him the way to our tent. He never showed up |

Immortal is Immortal. They legendary. Rotting Christ is know mainly for pissing off Dave Mustaine. I think the choice is obvious. |

Exactly! Besides Immortal are quite possibly one of the most fun bands to see live.
